Algae grow biomass at a pace up to a hundred times faster than any other and use solar energy at a much higher efficiency than e.g. photovoltaic.

As CO2 certificates are becoming more and more expensive, tying carbon dioxides becomes more lucrative. Technologies are available as well as the resources to give the inversion a boost.

The solution

We build innovative microalgae-photovoltaic-thermal combined eco-system plants. Why? Because the combination of proven technologies provides many advantages. Industrial Algae plants produce vast amounts of algae oil as well as desalinized water for irrigation and potable water. It produces food for cattle or fish. PV provides abundant power, where mirrors concentrate the sun on the PVs and generates heat during the daytime while cooling during the night.

The plant, a lab, and its surroundings will need protection against the desert. As the plant generates water abundantly, this will be used to create a protective vegetation zone.

And tying CO2 to generate emission certificates.

Photovoltaic, desalination and biofuel feedstock


The technology extensively uses floor-level controlled microalgae growth, monitored by sensors and AI for optimal conditions. CO2 is injected into the water and the temperature is kept relatively constant to maximum growth. Night LEDs may be used as an option to continue production 24h/d. Oils are extracted from the algae as raw material for liquid fuels (e.g. aviation fuel). For the residual material, there are various applications like fish/cattle food, solid fuel, fertilization, or stored permanently for CO2 certificate generation

Combining to maximize benefits

The PV/Thermal area of the plant generates all electric energy needed for pumps, vents, and other installations. Solar radiation is concentrated on the PV and the thermal installation connected to it work two ways, generating heat for the industry during the day and generating cooling during the night. Both heat and cooling are stored for distribution when needed. The surplus in electric energy peaks will be used in 3rd-party applications (like industry and buildings)

The industry has the full benefits of electricity and heat from the thermal plant. Many processes require an elevated temperature, and the natural use of this power will attract industries.

It is also highly beneficial for local people, who can live in a most pleasant oasis, cooled by the thermal plant, powered by the PV, and watered by the algae plant. In addition to this, cattle dung and city wastewater will fertilize the algae.


Just a square of 30km side length can generate enough fuel to supply the aviation industry for a medium-sized industrial country. In addition to this, new cities are fully supported with power, water, cooling, and food through cattle and fish.

A sustainable future

The world's current oil production can be replaced sustainably by this type of eco-system plant and generate a pleasant living environment for many citizens in a current very harsh environment.

The revenues will be much higher than in today’s fossil oil industry as the revenues are generated by oil, electrical power, cooling, and heat. Plus derivative products from farms, new cities, and more within the new ecosystem.
